Perfect Sambal Instant Noodles
Here’s our quickest meal yet. Egg, butter, cheese, and sambal come together in a smashing bowl of instant noodles, with plenty of potential to be your next big guilty pleasure!

Perfect Sambal Instant Noodles

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack instant ramen noodles
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp unsalted butter
- 2 slices American cheese
- 1/2 tbsp Homiah Sambal Chili Crunch
METHOD
- Pour 2 1/2 cups of water in a small pot or saucepan and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add in the instant noodles and cook according to its packet instructions. (It’s usually around the 2-minute mark.) Add in the flavor pack that comes with the noodles, and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Remove the pan from the heat, and gently crack the egg into the pot. Then, without stirring the soup, pull the noodles over the egg and let it poach for 2 minutes.
- Gently transfer everything into a bowl. Add the butter and cheese on top and let sit for 1 minute, letting the butter and cheese melt slightly. Sprinkle the Homiah Sambal Chili Crunch on top, and slurp it all down!
